As a non-fiction writer, I have conditioned myself over a period of time to first look inwards & acknowledge my own emotions & experiences, before encouraging others around me to acknowledge theirs. So, naturally, I wondered if other people were doing the same during this time, or would the magnitude of what was happening, hit them with an unrelenting force a few months down the line? Moreover, were they being mindful of the varying degrees of strength and perseverance they were exhibiting, by just getting through each day?
